Accident: Wabush, NL, Lat 52.56N, Long 66.55W, 12-Aug-1968 Excessive water in the left float affected the aircraft flight characteristics at lift off to the extent that when a gusty crosswind was encountered the pilot st lateral control of the aircraft After the wing touched the water on take off, the aircraft sank into 3ft of water.
