Accident: Long Lake, BC. 12-Aug-1997. On departure from Wilderness Air’s water base the aircraft’s take off run required a dog-leg past a point of land. Gusty winds were reportedly encountered as the aircraft rounded the point, Directional control was lost and the aircraft veered onto the shoreline. No injuries reported and damage to aircraft unknown. CADORS report 1997P0523
