Accident: Village Bay Lake, BC Lat 50.11N, Long 125.11W. 05-Sep-1962. The cause of the accident can only be given as a probable cause as regrettably the pilot perished in the accident. It appears that for un-determined reasons the pilot entered an unnecessary steep turn to the left and increased the bank to approx 90°. Consequently he was unable to hold the nose up with rudder effect and the aircraft struck the water in a nearly vertical nose down attitude. Substantial unknown damage is reported and as mentioned above the pilot died in the crash.

Accident: Port Simpson, BC. 18-Sep-1982. The pilot noted sea fog rolling in, just covering the seaplane dock at his destination. He landed in a clear area, and wanting to disembark his passengers and take-off before the whole area became fogbound, step-taxied at high speed toward the dock. As he entered the fog bank he found visibility was less than expected. The aircraft veered slightly off course; it headed toward the shoreline which became visible when insufficient room remained to stop. The pilot pulled the aircraft off the water to clear a 6 ft embankment, and crash-landed in low brush beyond, sustaining substantial damage. No injury was reported. Wreck noted Vancouver 18-Nov-1982. Wreckage owned by Seaflight, John Persic and Aero Flight, respectively.
