Accident: Vancouver Harbour, BC. 26-Sep-1999 The aircraft was landing westbound on a short final approach to land at Vancouver Harbour, on a scheduled VFR flight from Victoria Harbour, when it hit a 17 foot 'sea-ray' pleasure boat. The pilot aborted the landing and flew by the Vancouver Harbour control tower for a visual inspection of the aircraft by tower personnel. No damage was observed and the aircraft landed without further incident. There was substantial damage to the pleasure boat in the windshield and starboard shearstrake areas. The driver of the boat was seriously injured and the boat's other occupant received minor injuries. There were no injuries to the pilot or the 6 passengers of the aircraft. The aircraft was later removed from the water and inspected. No damage was found and it was returned to service.
