Accident: Vancouver Seaplane Base, BC. 09-Aug-1997. Several aircraft were parked at the seaplane base on the river adjacent to Vancouver International Airport. The pilot of C-FMXS was re positioning his aircraft at the dock. While he was taxiing downwind with the down current, the speed of the aircraft increased and he misjudged his proximity to another parked Beaver, C-FAXI. The right wing tip of the moving aircraft struck the left wing of the other causing minor damage to both. The pilot was uninjured (but embarrassed). CADORS report 1997P0540
