52-6077 was made available on 15-Dec-1952 and accepted on 06 Jan-1953 by the 6600th Air Depot AMO (Air Material Overseas Unit), at Downsview, ON., after which it was assigned to the Air Defence Command and delivered to the 4700th Air Base Group at Stewart AFB., NY., on 13-Jan-1953. It moved across the base to the 9th Liaison Squadron on 15-Apr-1953 and then moved to Burlington AFB., VT., with this unit on 11-May-1953. It then transferred to Otis AFB., MA., on 29-Mar-1953, attached to the 564th Air Defence Group and where it succumbed to an accident on 02-Jul-1954 at Otis AFB., MA., when it suffered a category 4 accident following a takeoff accident. The pilot was Robert J. Fox. After this incident it is assumed it was written off as the assignment was terminated.
