Accident: Poste de Mistassini, QC. Lat 50.25N Long 73.53W. 23-Jun-1971. Pilot was approaching to dock with his right float against the pier. The passenger sitting the right hand seat got out to assist in docking the aircraft. He was struck on the head by the propeller and died 30 minutes after arriving at Chibougameau Hospital. Another passenger and the pilot were uninjured.
