Accident: Private Strip 6ml NE of Terrace, BC. 27-May-1998. The pilot was attempting a takeoff using a home built dolly in a strong cross wind. The aircraft lost directional control and departed off of the intended take off path and struck a pothole. The aircraft suffered substantial damage when the undercarriage spreader bars failed. The one person on board, the pilot reported no injuries. CADORS report 1998P0305.
