Accident: Anthead Lake, ON. Lat 49.58N, Long 80.39W. 27-Sep-1982. While on final to land on a lake surface, the pilot tried to pump the flaps from the climb to take-off position. He reported that the aircraft dropped rapidly and after landing heavily then bouncing, he recovered with power and made a normal touchdown. The flap system was found to have a significant hydraulic leak at the flap jack, in both the "flaps up" and "flaps down" position. It is suspected that this deficiency in the flap system contributed to the heavy landing.

Accident: McGavock Lake, Manitoba. 22-Jul-2007. On landing in gusty conditions a float dug into the water. The aircraft overturned and came to rest overturned, submerged to the floats. The six occupants were able to egress from the aircraft with no serious injuries. One of the passengers dove back into the water to assist the pilot who reportedly had trouble exiting the aircraft. CADORS report 2007C2035.
