• CF-GQM BC Air Lines Ltd., Victoria, BC. Delivered 12-Nov-1950. Canx 27-Sep-1955.

Accident: Half mile Northeast of Skidigate Lake, BC. 01-Feb-1955. Details of accident unknown Pilot William C A Bellam sustained fatal injuries. And five passengers seriously injured. Aircraft destroyed.

Following note on recovery of injured via Dirk Septer 03-Jan-2012. Following the crash another aircraft nearby picked up Dr. W. Donald Watt, of Queen Charlotte City and the local RCMP constable and despite poor weather landed them about a mile away from the crash site. After hiking into the scene they found five of the seven people on board the aircraft still alive. Three of the survivors had broken backs and had to be carefully carried on stretchers through the bush to waiting vehicles, later in the day arriving at a logging camp where they stayed overnight before being flown to Vancouver the next morning.

Wreck noted at CBE Construction Hanger, Coal Harbour, BC., 24-May-2005 some 50 years after accident mentioned above with no evidence of activity.
