Note: Delivered crated by sea on S.S. Fitzroy Aug-1955. First flight on floats on 29-Sep-1955. Painted VP-FAF in error by De Havilland Canada and although the mistake was realised the paperwork was amended and issued on 21-Jul-1956 but the aircraft remained marked incorrectly as VP-FAF.
Accident: Moro, Douglas Station, Falkland Islands. Date unknown. Crashed on takeoff in the summer of 1956 when piloted by G. Toye. No injuries. Returned to Port Stanley by sea on RRS Shackleton. Deemed uneconomical to repair and reduced to spares and scrap.
