51-16482 was made available on 28-Mar-2011 and accepted by the Toronto AMO (Air Material Overseas) unit of the USAF on 15-Apl-1952 then initially delivered to the San Bernardino maintenance facility at Norton Air Force Bay, California, where it stayed between 22-Apr-1952 and 19-Jun-1952. It was transported to Kisarazu in Japan for assignment with the Far East Air Forces and allocated to the 6408th Maintenance Unit Group attention prior to being allocated South Korea and the 10th Liaison Squadron initially at Yong Dong Po between 22-Jul-1952 and 01-Feb-1954 and then with the same unit after it moved to Osan ni until 24-May-1954.
A return to Japan and the 6400th Air Depot at the Showa Aircraft Factory maintenance facility lasted from 25-Apr-1954 and 12-Jul-1954 before a return back to the 10th Liaison Squadron at Osan ni until 14-Oct-1954 and staying there with the 6171th Air Base Wing until 10-Nov-1954 and again with the 10th Liaison Squadron until 15-Mar-1955.
A transfer to the 5th Fighter Bomber Wing, still at Osan ni lasted until 18-Apr-1956, when it appears that it was reduced to spares.
