Specifications of this supberb DHC-2
x • C-GJSB • x Very rare aircraft! One of the lowest time since manufactured Beaver’s in the world! Nearly new engine. Gorgeously maintained. The perfect executive bush plane. This aircraft is like no beaver on the market today. It has 3,150 hours since manufactured. This is not to be confused with hours since rebuild. If you are looking for the safest best quality Beaver on the market this is it. There is nothing that compares to having low airframe time and low engine time, this has both. A low time, late model DeHavilland has become a virtual contradiction. Do not underestimate that combination. It has a STOL kit installed but maintains the full max weight increase of 5,600 lbs (an unusual exception). At 3,927 empty that’s 1,673 of usable. It is also loaded. Wipline amphibs, low time 3-bladed prop, cabin extension and Alaska door, 6 place Bose connections, dual landing lights, Shadin fuel flow, push out safety windows, and more. It has been immaculately maintained over the life of the aircraft. First by James Arness from TVs Gunsmoke, then by the president of DeHavilland and the first Beaver test pilot Russ Bannock, and finally as a hangered executive transport in Canada. It could be 10 years before another Beaver with these specs is listed. This is a historic aircraft and a Beaver bush pilot’s dream. The owner will be sad to see it go.
